Who we are

Aldea del Sol Residences operates this website at aldeadelsol.com. For any question about your data, write to info@aldeadelsol.com and a person will answer.

What we collect

What you send us. When you fill in the enquiry form we receive your name, email address, the country you are writing from, the stage you say you are at, and your message. We ask for nothing else, and every field beyond name and email is optional.

Basic technical data. Like any website, our server records the requests it receives — IP address, browser, and the pages you visited. This is used for security and for understanding which pages are useful.

We do not collect financial information through this website. We will never ask for bank details, card numbers or copies of identity documents by email or through a web form.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry, to send you the buyer’s guide and price list if you asked for them, and to keep a record of our correspondence so you do not have to repeat yourself. If you ask a legal or technical question we may share the relevant part of it with our lawyer or surveyor in order to answer you properly.

We do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for, and we do not pass your details to third-party brokers or lead-generation companies.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. If we add analytics we will ask for your consent first and name the provider here before it is switched on.

Embedded content — a map or a video tour — may set cookies from that provider when you interact with it. Those are governed by the provider’s own policy.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. If you never buy and ask us to delete your details, we delete them.

Your rights

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we will respond within thirty days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom you have these rights under the GDPR; we honour the same requests regardless of where you write from.

Costa Rican law (Ley N° 8968 on the protection of persons regarding the processing of their personal data) also applies to us, and gives you a right of access, rectification and deletion.

Security and transfers

This site is served over an encrypted connection. Enquiries are stored on our website host and may be forwarded to our email provider and customer-relationship system, which means your details may be processed on servers outside Costa Rica. We choose providers that offer appropriate safeguards.
